Are you guys still there? I can't believe I haven't been on here in over a month. I guess the only way to explain the sudden absence is to tell you what's been going on. About a month ago, I was diagnosed with severe post partum depression. I won't get into the details of everything now, but let me just say I've never experienced anything so terrifying in my life. I'm currently undergoing treatment, and things are getting better one day at a time. They're MUCH better than they were four weeks ago, and hopefully things will continue that way. This blog has definitely taken a backseat to everything. It's hard to rattle on about cute shoes and cupcakes when you feel like you're fighting for your life.
So, that's what's going on. Hopefully, one day I can write more in depth about everything. And I'm going to try and get this thing back up and running on a regualr basis. It's good for my soul. So here's to hope,faith,prayer,love,..and pills.
P.S.) On the plus side, I've lost all my baby weight and then some. So, silver lining, you know?

Just in case you thought I'd forgotten about my new baby...
It's not that I don't like taking pictures of "Hank the Tank" (seriously, he's a small man), it's just that he's always either sleeping or crying and that's boring/painful to look at. So, here he is in a good mood! Posing and all. Totally rocking the American Apparel and Sophie Giraffe, I must say. I can't believe he's already almost 2 months old!
P.S.) He gets that surly face from me.

Sights: Tree House Point
Sounds: Tommy Hernandez/Joel and Krista's wedding playlist
Eats: Skillet Food Cart/Mistral Kitchen
Drinks: Moscow Mules/French 75's
My sister got hitched this past weekend!! This is the very tippity top of the iceberg as far as wedding photos go. I was the wedding photographer and I have never been more happy/exhausted/nervous/focused in my life. They got married in the forest outside of Seattle, in front of about 25 guests. The wedding went from 4 pm to 2 am, and everyone slept in their own treehouses!! There was a gratuitous amount of food and alcohol and nature. The next morning, everyone met for brunch in Seattle and toasted the bride and groom one last time. Soooo much fun. Sooooo tired. More pictures coming soon!!
